AI import plan
AI identifies column roles after uploading spreadsheets, allowing you to confirm mappings before importing without manual configuration.
Requester
The most tedious part of importing spreadsheets is specifying which column is the Key, which is Source, and which corresponds to each target language. The AI import plan handles this mapping step first so you only need to verify.
How to use
- 1
Upload file
Follow the standard path: Import data → Local File → Choose a spreadsheet file.
- 2
Review the AI plan
The system displays "AI drafted an import plan: 2 sheets to import". The preview assigns roles column by column: Key, Source, Target language translation, or Custom column (reference, short text, etc.).
- 3
Confirm or adjust
If a column role needs adjustment, change it in the dropdown; exclude any sheets you do not want to import. Once verified, click Start import.
- 4
Review import report
When the import completes, an import change report lists added, updated, conflicting, and problematic rows. You can continue from the report to create Delta or Hotfix batches.
When recognition fails
AI provides suggestions, not final verdicts. Manually correct in the following cases:
- Multiple candidate Key columns exist in a sheet, or a Key column is misidentified as general text.
- Language column headers are non-standard (e.g. labeled "Chinese" instead of
zh-CN), which might be recognized as custom columns. - Content from multiple modules is mixed in one sheet; consider splitting sheets before importing.
Errors are highlighted inline in the plan (such as missing Key column, Key column count exceeded, or language unassigned). Correct following prompts and regenerate or adjust manually.
