Discussion
Every job includes a dedicated timeline: messages, system events, and segment comments live together.
No need to search external chat tools for context—the discussion section in each job serves as the definitive record for that task.
Discussion stream
The Discussion section at the bottom of the job details page combines two streams into one timeline:
- Messages: Text sent between you and peers. Type in Write a message, press Enter to send, or Shift+Enter for line breaks.
- System events: Automatically logged events showing who did what and when: Issued, Started, Declined, Delivered, Returned, Accepted, Cancelled, Schedule updated, Vendor changed, XLIFF imported.
Message actions
- Hover over your own messages to Edit, Delete (deleted messages are hidden from all members), or Copy link.
- Any message supports emoji reactions; duplicate reactions aggregate into counts.
- Long timelines display Load earlier messages; when new messages arrive, a prompt indicates New messages below to jump to the bottom.
- Messages support up to 10,000 characters; send failures provide an inline Retry action.
Segment comments
The Segment comments panel in the editor right column provides discussions pinned to individual segments: questions target specific keys without describing "which word on which row" in the main chat. Job discussions handle broad coordination, while segment comments resolve specific string queries.
