Projects and Kits
Drafts & versions
Edits land on shared drafts first and freeze as version snapshots once confirmed; branches allow parallel content prep.
Requester
This page explains the Kit "shared draft → version snapshot" mechanism: when changes stay in drafts, when they freeze into versions, and how branches operate.
Table workflow
The Table workflow panel at the top right outlines the process across five steps, displaying your current stage and suggested next actions:
Shared drafts
- All grid edits and import results apply to the active shared draft first. The header displays the Draft in progress status.
- Drafts are shared across the workspace: changes you make are immediately visible to colleagues viewing the same Kit, and vice versa.
- Stash draft sets the current draft aside to restore later; when a draft switches, the UI prompts you to reload.
- Change history tracks all modifications recorded on this draft.
Branches
Use branches when preparing separate sets of content in parallel:
- New branch: Enter a branch name or check out an independent draft from an existing version without affecting other branches.
- Bring into draft: Incorporate modifications from other branches into your current draft.
- Fast-Forward to Default Branch: Merge current branch changes directly into the main branch. Merges are blocked if the target branch has uncommitted changes or if the main branch has newer versions.
Versions & releases
- 1
Compare changes
Click Compare with a version to inspect diffs between your draft and an existing version row by row before committing.
- 2
Commit version
Click Commit as version to freeze an immutable snapshot. Committing is not a release; content is not yet live externally.
- 3
Manage version history
The Version history panel lists all snapshots: View this snapshot, Check out this version (return to this content to continue editing), Release version, Save name, and Soft delete (retrieve deleted versions with Show deleted).

Release or issue jobs
Release version publishes confirmed versions externally; Publisher batch scopes ranges from current drafts to issue to vendors. See Create & issue jobs.
